Law Student Wins College Tuition At Poker TournieJune 10 - Derek Dilberian, A 24-year old University of Florida law student, recently won himself a semester's free tuition when he was the last man standing in the AbsolutePoker freeplay 'Win Your Tuition' online poker tournament. Dilberian triumphed over 4000 students from more than 450 colleges to earn the coveted prize. In second place was Tim Mannion, a Providence College student, who won a laptop PC while those in third to tenth place each received Apple iPods. AbsolutePoker spokesperson, Garin Gustafson, congratulated Derek on his victory and commented that the poker room was extremely pleased with the overwhelming response to the tournament. AbsolutePoker will be hosting the next? 'Win Your Tuition' tournament in November this year. |
